Just thought of sharing an easy and budget friendly dinner I make every time I am out of ideas. (Students + budget living = true!)
I call this "Ammi & bibi's potato & veg dinner", since its a blend of my mom and my sister in law's recipe.
For 2-3 persons, you will need:
2 big potatoes
I medium size onion
1 small red onion (optinal)
3 medium size tomatoes
1 bellpepper/ paprika
1 big carrot
2-3 cloves gralic
8 tablespoons yogurt
1-2 cups water
Salt, black pepper, paprika/bellpepper powder, cumin seeds powder, chilli powder
(Might take 1-2 hours, since the potatoes here takes more time to cook.)
Serve with sauce or ketchup. I normally make a simple sauce with butter, flour, milk and spices for this dinner.
